New WATSON Program:
The Chair Suite - The Pandemic Edition

Are you the chair of a not-for-profit, association or foundation? We have a new program just for you.

Being the chair of the board right now – in the midst of a global pandemic – is not easy; from increased meeting frequency, to being the key support to both the board and the ED/CEO, to trying to keep the long-view for the organization. It’s tough at the top and there’s no playbook.

WATSON would like to introduce:

The Chair Suite – The Pandemic Edition

July 23 | August 20 | September 24 | October 22
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM (PST)

A small group of carefully curated chairs will come together once a month for the next four months (July-October) for peer-learning, and guidance from WATSON governance consultant, Natasha Himer. The group will work together to navigate the next phase of the Covid-19 recovery.

There is no fee for this pilot program. Please see the flyer below for more details and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

The deadline to submit interest is July 3, 2020.

WATSON Webinar: Embracing an Inclusive Stakeholder-Focused Governance Approach

Given the context of the global pandemic and the more recent US events, the conversation around stakeholder capitalism for boards and their organizations has only accelerated.

Join WATSON for an engaging panel discussion:

Embracing an Inclusive Stakeholder-Focused Governance Approach

July 8, 2020
Start: 9:00AM (PST) // 12:00PM (EST)

The concept of stakeholder capitalism focuses on ensuring organizational decision-making considers and balances the interests, risks, and opportunities for all parties affected by an organization’s operations, beyond members or shareholders.

Sharon Rudy will moderate a discussion with John Jennings, Rachel Colabella, and Rachel O'Connor, as they unpack this increasingly pressing topic.

Free to attend. Space is limited.
